HTC Desire 620G Dual Sim

A cheap smartphone with nice specs

The Taiwanese company made another one smartphone on Desire series, with low price and really challenging specifications. This is HTC Desire 620G Dual Sim, the successor of the popular HTC Desire 620. When was first released in Indian market, was only $240. The Desire 620G Dual SIM is the 3G-variant of the Desire 620 Dual SIM, which supports 4G connectivity. So, what are the cons?

1. Poor Battery Life

HTC Desire 620G comes with a 2100mAh battery. As people complained that keeps the phone alive only for a whole day optimum usage. The Octa-Core 1.7 GHz Cortex-A7 processor may be the cause of this issue, but as we said many times before, that is the most common problem that portable devices nowadays have.

2. Android OS is not latest version

Yes, they are still using a previous version of Android once again. Desire 620G Dual Sim comes with Android OS v4.4.4 (KitKat) and excellent user interface. It’s pretty sure that Android KitKat is the most stable version of all so far. Many companies seem to be afraid of using the latest Android OS v5.0 (Lollipop) due to many flaws, bugs and issues that suffers.

3. Screen pixel Density

This smartphone comes with a 5-inch LCD display with HD (720×1280 pixels) resolution with a pixel density of 294ppi which is not appreciable for many people. Well, that depends on what you want from a specific device.

4. Available in only 2 color variants

Unlike the HTC Desire 620 that has many options of colored models, this HTC Desire 620G Dual Sim comes only in 2 color variants such as milky way gray and white.

5. 8GB of Internal Memory

For such a price it’s absolutely accepted that must have a lower spec. But the 8GB is not usable even from the OS! About 4 GB is taken by OS and 4 GB available to the user, everywhere it is so, not just in this phone. It’s a fact.
