The hardest part of YouTube is to establish your first audience. That’s why seeking help when you’re getting started will make YouTube a lot more easier for you. Although getting help from other YouTubers might give you some initial subscribers, the only way to build your first audience is by making interesting content. Networks are useless for smaller channels. All they do is take a portion of your revenue without giving anything in return. You should probably stay away unless you get a really fair deal.

Get a lawyer before you sign up anything. This will help reduce the paperwork and keep you away from bad contracts but most importantly, you will know exactly what you are getting yourself into.
