In reply to <a href="https://www.badfive.com/yeah-call-duty-wwii-still-coming-switch/#comment-504">truthier</a>.

The Wii cast a broad net to attract consumers of all ages. That's why the huge install base didn't always lead to good sales of third-party titles. But historically, Call of Duty games specifically on Wii sold extremely well for the system. They were highly profitable and cost less to make.

With the Switch having a more adult appeal, Call of Duty is sure to sell a lot more. Call of Duty on the go is something customers want and they won't care if it looks slightly less pretty.

The wii sold more the Sony and MS offering at the time... but 3rd parties didnt sell well, you for some strange reason think a system...which is nintendo second try at this gen.... is selling well that it means good 3rd party sells? The only thing we hears is bomberman shipping...not selling 500k. Which is nothing because it was the only real 3rd party game for it.
So nintendo is 58 million behind ps4..... nintendo is 26 million behind xbox one..... those two main systems ell 3rd party games.... they have a huge user base because they didnt have a failed console this gen.... oh and lets not forget its obviously not going to look as good.
So far....like the last 2 systems, the switch is a nice first party system.
So you would have to be dumb to write this and make the assumptions that you would make about any big 3rd party game skipping switch.
